Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) – SSO ID

At SSO ID, we respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been infringed upon on our website, we encourage you to submit a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This notice will allow us to promptly address your concerns.

Notice of Infringement

To file a DMCA takedown notice, please provide the following information:

  1. Your contact information:
Name, address, phone number, and email address.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work(s):
A description of the original copyrighted work that you believe has been infringed.
  3. Identification of the infringing material:
A description of where the infringing material is located on our website (e.g., the URL).
  4. Your statement of good faith belief:
A statement that you believe in good faith that the use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. Your statement under penalty of perjury:
A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  6. Your signature:
A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Once we receive a valid DMCA notice, we will review it and take appropriate action. We may remove the infringing material or disable access to it. If we remove or disable access to content due to a DMCA notice, we will notify the user who uploaded the material, so they can file a counter-notice if they wish.

Counter-Notice Procedure

If you believe that the material we removed or disabled access to was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. The counter-notice must include the following:

  1. Your contact information:
Name, address, phone number, and email address.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed:
A description of the material that was removed, along with its URL.
  3. Your statement of good faith belief:
A statement that you believe the material was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your signature:
    A physical or electronic signature.

We will review your counter-notice and may restore the material unless the original copyright owner submits a lawsuit. Please note that submitting a DMCA counter-notice constitutes a legal process.
